Project Description

The Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Association’s Los Angeles Chapter hired me to produce an original quarterly print magazine, The Messenager, that would explore ALS research, fundraising, caregiving, and the lives of the patients and their families affected by Lou Gehrig’s Disease. I chose the theme each issue, wrote most of the articles and solicited others, sourced all the photographs, designed the cover, layed-out all the pages, and arranged for printing and distribution. The issues were usually 16-24 pages long.
